Caryn Weiss Biography - CARYN owes her love of photography to her father, Jerry.
A photographer turned technical director for NBC, Jerry bought Caryn her first Nikkormat 35mm camera during her journalism days in college. After finishing school, her new interest in photography landed her Photo Editor positions with several magazines. Years later, she joined a photo-graphy agency in Los Angeles and began representing photographers. In 1993, Caryn launched her own agency, WeissArtists, Inc. The agency started out specializing in the music industry, but developed into all areas of entertainment, editorial and advertising. Caryn prides herself on her ability to choose photographers that are not only exceptionally talented, but are also great people. Her father's portraits of Audrey Hepburn, Frank Sinatra, Bob Hope and Humphrey Bogart still hang on her wall.
Kamra Delaney Biography - KAMRA (her name a "gift" from her mother) began her career as an assistant to Tricia Burlingham at Artist Rep Inc. in the fall of 1999. As an agent, her experiences working with established photographers like Peggy Sirota and Lorenzo Agius solidified Kamra's reputation as a savvy negotiator and respected rep in the advertisement arena. In 2007, a friend introduced Kamra to Caryn and a mutual opportunity was realized. With a passion for music and a willingness to explore her horizons, Kamra accepted a position on Team Weiss. While maintaining her relationships on the advertising landscape, Kamra is eager to direct her experience toward the fashion and entertainment sectors of photography. Kamra's other interests include training her dogs Charlie and Lucy, trying out new recipes on her husband and playing bass guitar in a rock band.
